Mary S. (Pocci) Schreck age 87 of North Canton, passed away early Thursday morning. Born in Barnesboro, PA to the late Tibaldo and Sylvia (Pistralli) Pocci, she was preceded in death by her son Chuck Schreck, brothers Elio and Daniel Pocci, sisters Emelina Pocci and Louise Dougherty. Mary was a 1947 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and a member of the National Honor Society. She retired in 1986 from Hirsch Builder's Supply as a bookkeeper. Mary was very proud of her Italian heritage. An amazing cook, she passed on her many recipes to her family. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Robert E. Schreck, daughters Tamara Schreck, Kimberly (Doug) Link, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother Ezio Pocci. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with services to follow at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
