IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Jane
(Sekerak) Tersigni
May 17, 1927 – June 5, 2015
Mary Jane (Sekerak) Tersigni, passed away Friday morning from complications of Alzheimer's with angels by her side. Born on May 17, 1927 in Canton. Mary Jane was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She was married to Romeo Tersigni in 1949. They raised six children. As her children reminisce about her life, we can't recall a time she wasn't smiling and helping people. She spent her entire life in service to others. She volunteered for many years at St. John the Baptist Church helping with the Alter Society, Bingo and serving communion to the home bound. She also assisted as secretary in the rectory when needed. Additionally Mary Jane volunteered at the Hoover Historical Society and in the Garden Center gift shop at Stadium Park. After lovingly raising her children, she took care of her mother Stella, and then her wonderful husband "Roe". Her generous and giving nature often found her making waffles for the gas man or her amazing summertime ice tea with mint for the mailman. Her love for her family and our Heavenly Father was evident in all she did. Her children take this opportunity to give special thanks and honor to Renee' Raye Tersigni, her daughter-in-law who unselfishly and with deep love was Mary Jane's caregiver for many years. Mary Jane joins her husband Romeo and son Robert in eternity. She is survived by her children, Michele and Frank Cimorelli, Mark and Renee' Tersigni, Suzanne and Mark Townsend, Maria Tersigni and Bill Montini, Jon and Kim Tersigni. Her grandchildren Jamie and Ben Griffith, Danielle Hoopes, Chris Cimorelli, Evan and Larissa Tersigni, Ashley and Milam Byers, Michael Tersigni, Tori Townsend , Domenic Tersigni, as well as 8 beautiful great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Tuesday at Rossi Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm. A service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at Rossi Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Romeo at St. John's Cemetery immediately following the ceremony.
