Mary C. (Mercorelli) Weaver, fondly known as “Mimi,” age 98 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She was born in Canton on April 7, 1928 to the late Angelo and Rose Mercorelli. A graduate of Timken High School, she was also a member of Guardian Angels Parish at St. Joan of Arc Church.

Mary enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including baking, cooking, and spending time crafting with her sister-in-law. She also enjoyed watching horse and dog racing at the tracks. Mary was a familiar face at Maggiore's Drive Thru, where she faithfully played the Ohio Lottery each week—a weekly tradition she never missed. Above all, Mary loved her family and especially cherished the time she spent babysitting her great-nieces and great-nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Raphie Young and Antoinette Gabriele. She is survived by her siblings Nick Mercorelli, Josephine Schiavone, and John Mercorelli; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations, in Mary's name, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
