Meta Hasiotis, age 94, of Canton passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born in Canton on August 31, 1923 to the late Gus and Sophie (Kalenterides) Godagidis. Meta was a manager at United Bank for 30 years. She was also a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Koraes Society and Senior Citizens of the church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Hasiotis; brothers John Gordon and Harry Godagidis; uncles Tim Kalenterides; aunt Hazel Kalenterides; and nephew Nick Kelesides.

Meta is survived by her children Patricia (Norman) St. Jean and Betsy (Andrew) Lazaris; grandchildren Thomas (Amy) Kimble, Christine (Bill) Rice; great-grandchildren Allysen, Brandon and Ava Kimble. Also survived by sister Ann Thomas (Les Raye); aunt Kathryn Kalenterides; uncle Theodore Kalenterides; and niece Kalliope Kelesides.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
