MICHAEL A. CIRONE, age 89 of Louisville passed away early Monday morning, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Canton to the late Luca and Mary (Elefante) Cirone he was preceded in death by his son William Cirone. He was a World War II veteran serving on the USS Pueblo. He retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years as a dye repairman. His love of aviation led him to build a small airport known as Sunset Strip. There, he and his wife rebuilt and flew numerous antique airplanes and made many friends. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter #147. Anyone stopping to visit with Mike never left hungry, he always enjoyed sharing a meal with friends new or old. Survived by his wife Judy (Angerer) Cirone, son and daughter-in-law Ben and Tena Cirone, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Todd Miller, his beloved granddaughters who he adored and fed many cookies to, Amber, Rachael, Sarah, Angela, Grace, and Isabella, brothers and sisters-in-law Frank and Lena Cirone, Jerry and Betty Cirone and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 1 pm to 3 pm at Hartville Church of Christ with a Memorial Service to follow at 3 pm.
