MICHAEL J. ESBER, age 63 of Millersburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 2. Born in Canton to the late Norman and Kathryn (Hahn) Esber, he was a 1968 graduate of Glenwood High School and Ohio Northern University. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Mike was a pharmacist for over 25 years. After retirement he got his CDL license and became a driver for Muskingham Bus Lines. He is survived by his wife Linda Jo (Bates) Esber, son Stephen (Karyn) Esber, daughter Natalie Esber (Matt Upperman), step-daughters Amanda (Eric) Zaugg, Amy (Matthew) Holmes, six grandchildren, brothers Carl Esber, J.C. (Carol) Esber, sister Yvonne (Howard) Bettis, sister-in-law Peggy (David) Yoder and mother-in-law Velma S. Bates. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at 4pm, Rev. Fr. Michael Corbin officiating. Private family burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1118 Cherry Ave. N.E., Canton, OH 44704.
