MICHAEL JOSEPH EVANS, age 64, passed on January 4th at Cleveland Clinic Mercy hospital surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer. Mike was born on July 25, 1957 in Canton, son of the late Clarence and Genevieve (Maiorana) Evans. Mike graduated from Timken Vocational High School in 1975 as a printer. He was employed by Allied Typesetting Service, Paragraphic's Inc, Hiney Printing then back to Paragraphic's Inc. until his illness started.

Mike is survived by his Daughter Andrea (Lisa) Evans of Parma Heights and son Michael (Ginny) Evans Jr. of North Canton. Two grandchildren Paige and Cole Altland of North Canton. Mike also is survived by his siblings sister Susan Zoll of Texas and brother John (Donna) Evans of North Carolina. Nephews John (Katie) Oster of North Canton, Josh and Mathew Evans of Arkansas. Nieces Amanda (Brett) Horn of Georgia and Jessika (Angela) Wickert of Texas. Mike is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins especially, Alan Moga. Preceded in death by brother in law Joseph Zoll. Mike enjoyed his time boating, fishing & watching Notre Dame football games with his family. Mike will be missed by many that knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 14th from 5 to 7 p.m at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Services will begin at 7 p.m. in funeral home.
