Michael D. McMaster, age 74 of Austin, TX, formerly of Canton, passed away July 4, 2015 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio to the late Edgar and Margaret (Byrd) McMaster. He worked at Danner Press for 26 ½ years until 1985, moving to Austin where he worked for Hart Graphics until retiring. Survived by his loving wife Cheryl L. McMaster, children Joseph McMaster of the home, Mikki (David Prout) McMaster-Prout of Royal Oak, MI, Todd McMaster of Kileen, TX, Michelle (Michael) Legg of Idaho, grandsons Lucus Prout of Royal Oak, MI, Gavin McMaster of Kileen, TX, and a granddaughter expected to be born in September, brothers Robert (Norma) McMaster of Canton, Dennis (Lee) McMaster of Round Rock, TX, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tony and Jan Koutras of North Canton, Jerry and Susan Swisher of East Sparta, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
