Michael J. Panella age 65 of Canton, passed away Wednesday evening after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Michael J. and Anne (Bernabei) Panella, he was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Michael bred and raised miniature silver poodles and was a member of the 4-H. He was a retired salesman. He is survived by his sister Catherine Fitzgibbon, niece Michele Fitzgibbon, uncle Augie (Barb) Panella, aunt Sallie Panella and numerous cousins. Family will receive friends from 9 to 10 am Tuesday at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 10:00 am, Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano officiating. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to Our Lady of Peace School (1001 39 ^th St. NW, Canton, OH 44709).
