Michael Scott Santangelo, 59, passed quietly Tuesday morning October 25, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1963 in Canton, Ohio. Michael graduated from East Canton High School in 1981. Following graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corps, served two tours and was honorably discharged the summer of 1987. In 1999 he became a licensed crane operator and worked for Ohio Operating Engineers until retiring in 2017. Michael always held his Semper Fi brothers close to his heart. When a fellow brother needed assistance, he extended his hands to help. Michael was involved in a group nicknamed The Squirrel Mafia. This group consisted of various members located throughout the USA and they assisted people in need. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael M. Santangelo; his twin brothers Craig and Christian Santangelo. He is survived by his mother, Nora Santangelo and his wife Karen Santangelo. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 5pm to 6pm. A memorial service will immediately follow officiated by Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop.
