Michael L. Scavelli

" Some Kinda Guy"

Michael L. Scavelli passed away January 10, 2017. He was born on Thanksgiving Day 1957. He was a retired bricklayer that proudly served as a craftsman for many years. A member of Bricklayers Union Local NO. 6. He was proud of his work and left his mark on many buildings in Stark County. Michael was the "Ultimate" McKinley Bulldog fan but graduated form Lehman High School, class of 1976, where he excelled in wrestling. He was also an avid fisherman and loved collecting antique train sets. Everything he did, he did well. He was preceded in death by his parents Nick and Anne Scavelli, wife Martha (Long) Scavelli, sister Barbara Ann (Scavelli) Tarter and brother Nick J. Scavelli. He is survived by his loving Tonie-Anne sister Rosemary "Toonie" Scavelli, John A. Scavelli and sisters Angela (Scavelli) Thomas and Constance (Scavelli) Kelly. Also 2 step children from wife Martha; numerous nieces and nephews that he held dear. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 p m at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Don King celebrant. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank Sherin and Josh for their thoughtfulness and caring. Forever the "Good Goods".
