MICHAEL W. TIGNOR, age 62 of Wooster, passed away Sunday afternoon after a brief illness. Born in Zanesville, Ohio to John and Joanna (Gilliland) Tignor, he was a graduate of Ohio University. Michael was the owner of Tignor's Hometown Hardware in Wooster. His memberships include; The Timber Frame Guild, Wooster Rotary, Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, Duck's Unlimited, Ohio Cattleman's Association and The Ohio Simmental Association. His hobbies were farming, racket ball, fishing and traveling. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his children Wesley (Ashlin) Tignor, Matthew Tignor, Katie Tignor, sisters Cynthia (Philip) Wood, Amy Jo (David) McCauley and good friend Kathy Pierce. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30 ^th St. NW, Canton,OH 44709) with memorial services to follow at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County.
