Mite (Mike) Ristev, age 65, of Massillon, died April 12, 2018, in the comfort of his home. He was born August 12, 1952, in the village of Kurbinovo, Macedonia, son of the late Zivko and Krstana (Grozdanovska) Ristevski. He is preceded in death by his brother, Dance (Maria) Ristev. Mite is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elaine Ristev, son Nikolas Ristev, daughter Marina (Masoud) and granddaughters Asiyah and Sarah Rana, nephew Dr. Goran (Sonia) Ristev and niece Kristina (Jeff) Barr, and many cousins and extended family in the U.S., Canada, and Macedonia. Mite's expertise and humor will be missed by all, including his friends at Compass Systems of Barberton, Ohio. Calling hours will be Friday, April 13, 2018, from 5 to 8 PM at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 4667 Applegrove St., NW, North Canton, OH 44720; visitation will continue at the church Saturday morning at 9 AM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10 AM at St. George with Rev. Fr. Aleksa Pavichevich officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 4414 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709.
