Muriel L. (Veronesi) Cammel, age 83 of Canton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening. Born in East Bridgewater, MA to the late Amando and Marion (Hill) Veronesi, she was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Chuckran. Muriel was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Navy. She is survived by her husband Salvatore Cammel with whom they celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 15, 2015, children; Dawn (James) Poremba of Columbus, OH, Douglas (Vickie) Cammel of Chesapeake, VA, Tara (Chris) Johnson, Sullivan (Kelley) Cammel all of Canton, OH, 13 grandchildren; Eric Jogerst, Nicholas Amanatides, Anna Johnson, Amy Cammel, Adrian Johnson, Jessica Poremba, Chelsea Cammel, Britney Sheets, Brenna, Hunter, Cailee, Nathan, and Eric Cammel, two great-grandchildren Caleb Jamison II, and Abel Cammel, sisters Irene (Peter) Engle of Battlefield, Misouri, Norma (Mervyn) Godfrey of Waltham, MA, and Janet (Roy) Keene of Frankfort, ME. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 9 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 am at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
