NANCY L. (BREEN) BAUHOF, age 78 of Canton, passed away Tuesday evening after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton she was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Nancy was a freelance copywriter working for area companies. She was preceded in death by her father Robert H. Breen, husband Tom Bauhof, sister Patricia Shorthill and brother Scott Breen. She is survived by her sons Jonathan and Julia Kompara of Huntington Beach, CA, Christopher Kompara of Johnson City, TN, Steven Kompara of Canton, grandchildren Katie and Becca Kompara, mother Myrtle M. (Castleberry) Breen, brother and sister-in-law Robert T. and Donna Breen of North Canton, sister Janet Bronsema of Magnolia, special nieces Kristen, Kerrie, Kimberly and nephew Jeff and friend John Pearl. There will be no services. Respecting Nancy's wishes she will be cremated. Donations are requested to be sent to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
