Nancy J. (Sarno) Myers, age 84 of Canton, passed away early Tuesday morning after a 10 year battle against Pancreatic cancer. Born in Canton to the late Edward and Jacqueline Sarno, she was also preceded in death by her husband Ed "Fuzzy" Myers, sister Virginia Barra and brother Bob Sarno. Nancy was retired from the Canton City School System. A member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, she dearly loved her family, cooking, baking and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She is survived by her children John (Eileen) Myers, Jacki Cooper, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Ed Sarno and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 to 11 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00, Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski celebrant. Respecting Nancy's wishes she will be cremated and interment will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
