NICHOLAS G. PALLOTTA, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away at the age of 70 on June 19 th from complications of Alzheimer's. Nick was born in Canton, Ohio on October 1, 1942 to the late Dominick and Patricia (Lamiell) Pallotta. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael and Joseph, mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Joseph Concatto. Survived by his loving and devoted family to celebrate his life, wife of 47 years Drennia (Concatto), daughter and son-in-law Nicki and Eric Smith, son and daughter-in-law Todd and Allison, grandchildren Kailey and Kiefer Smith, Alexandria, Jacob, Jaret and Lauren Pallotta, sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Mark Carosello, nephews Mark (Rachel) , Tony (Michele) Carosello, Joey Pallotta, step-mother Pauline Pallotta and her children Terry (Ted) Welsch, Paula Balcarcel and Rob McLaughlin, sister-in-law Pauline (Steve) Ginella, brother-in-law Joe (Linda) Concatto, nieces, nephew and cousins. Nick graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1960 and attended two years at Loyola University in Chicago and graduated from Walsh University in Canton. He retired from the Canton Jewish Community Center after 45 years as Athletic Director. He was a coach, mentor and teacher to thousands of children including his six grandchildren. He enjoyed following all the "graduates of his programs" and their accomplishments. His greatest joy was in the stands watching his grandchildren. He rarely missed a game! Friends may call on Sunday June 23 rd from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 24 th at 10 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop, celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Thank you to the Legends Care Center and Crossroads Hospice and our special friend Jeff Sklar for the love, care and respect given to our beloved Nick.
