Nicholas Anthony DeFrank, Jr. of Canton, Ohio passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, October 2, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Nicholas was born in Canton, Ohio on May 13, 1955. Nicholas graduated from Timken High School in 1973. He was a baker in his early years for the Cleveland Bakers and Teamsters Union, in which he worked in various grocery stores around the city. Later in his work career, he drove trucks for Frito-Lay, and also retired from there. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, loved playing softball, fishing, reading, and watching shows like America's Got Talent.

Nicholas is survived by two brothers, Jim DeFrank, and Tom DeFrank; two sons Nicholas DeFrank (SaLena Simmons) and Steven DeFrank; daughter Jessica DeFrank; five grandchildren, Nathen DeFrank, Paige DeFrank, Riley Callahan, Gracey DeFrank, and Nickey Defrank. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas DeFrank, and mother, Regina DeFrank. He will be missed dearly. There will be a celebration of his life for family and friends at a later date.
