Nicole Marie Tatarides, 53, passed away December 12, 2022. Born May 1, 1969, in Canton, Ohio. Beloved daughter of the late George Peter Tatarides and survived by her devoted mother Charlotte Tatarides, twin sister Georgene Tatarides, sister Kellijo Jeffries, brother Kevin Palmer (Pamela), her dearest Aunt, Melanie McCauley; goddaughter/niece Rakel Marie Jeffries, nephew Raj Jeffries, and niece Samantha Palmer.

Nicole was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, both in Canton, Ohio. A graduate of Canton McKinley High School and Kent State University, with a degree in English. In high school, Nicole discovered her love for travel. A Greek woman who loved her culture, but also that of the French. An avid reader, writer, and poet.

Her eyes always sparkled, her smile would brighten up a room and her spirit exuded love for everyone that was blessed to know Nicole. To her siblings and childhood friends, she was "Nicky." To her family she was the most positive presence in their lives; "Top of the morning to ya!" her special greeting that will resonate in our memories forever.

Nicole battled cancer for almost two years and reminded us each day that the outcome of the battle was a Win-Win. She wins if she beats the disease through treatment and wins if she goes to heaven with her Fathers. "Nicole:" champion, hero, and now angel to us all.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (Canton, Ohio) on Thursday, December 15th from 5 to 8 p.m. (Trisagion Prayer at 6:30 p.m.). Family and friends will also be received from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (Canton, Ohio) on Friday, December 16th. Funeral services to begin at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
