Norma Jean (Fonte) Stark, age 87 of Canton, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. Born on February 15, 1937 in Canton to the late Venanzio and Amelia (Susi) Fonte, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Stark, Sr.; son Paul A. Stark, Jr.; brother Dominic Fonte; sisters Ann Pechalk and Venna Sylvester.

Norma was a 1955 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and later retired from Speedy Cleaning, where she was the owner and operator. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish at St. Anthony Church. In her spare time, she loved to ballroom dance and would dance competitively as well.

Norma is survived by her children Chip (Teresa) Stark, Cheryl Trammell, Tina Stark (Terry Lindeman), Bob (Tami) Stark, daughter-in-law Cindy Stark; twenty-four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Junior Sylvester.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 12 noon. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
