Norma L. Kendle, age 90 of Canton, our beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, and friend passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday morning. Born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Peter and Edna (Snyder) Lepley, she was preceded in death by her husband James G. Kendle in 1965, grandson Greg Kendle, brothers Elson and Edwin Lepley, sisters Fern Matters and Elna Eckman. Norma retired from Ilge's Nursing Home where she was employed as a Registered Nurse. She was an avid bowler and volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. She is survived by her children, Phil Kendle (Terri Russo) of Daytona Beach, FL, Becky (Fred) Bors of Canton, Deanna (Lloyd) Kerr of Strasburg, OH, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 8, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Memorial services to follow at 6:00 p.m., with Peach Bors officiating. Respecting Norma's wishes she was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Norma's name, may be made to Stark County Hospice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Pines Nursing Home for the great care of our mother.
