Our beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather, Octavian Greavu, passed away peacefully at Aultman Hospital Saturday morning. He was a kind, gentle man and had a welcoming spirit with family and many friends. He was a Godly example to those who knew him and was loved by all. Family was an important facet in his life. He loved his growing family and spent time attending many family events. His smiles, gentleness of spirit and his faithful prayers will be dearly remembered. He was preceded in death by his parents Dionisie and Varvara Greavu, wife of 48 years Eugenia (Nanes) Greavu, and sister Eugenia Greavu. He is survived by his sons Liviu (Mariana) Greavu, Neculae O. (Marcela) Greavu, four grandchildren; Ileana Greavu, Mariana (Dave) Irimies, Nicolae (Melissa) Greavu, Angela Greavu, four great-grandchildren; Ferrari-Natalia, Alexandru-Nicolas, Peter-Oliver, Magdalena-Olivia, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Helen Bikis and their family. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home where Saracusta service will be held at 7:30. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. George Byzantine Catholic Cathedral with Very Rev. Ovidiu Marginean officiating. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
