Olivia (Vitalarii) Alviani age 95 of Canton, passed away Wednesday. Born in Alliance to the late John and Eufemia (Banciu) Vitalarii, she was also preceded in death by her husband Harry Alviani, brothers John Vitalarii Jr. and George Vitalari, sisters Millie Unkfer, Rosie Montler, Virginia Calderone, and Helen Cioci. Olivia was a 1945 graduate of Alliance High School and a 1948 graduate of Salem School of Nursing. She worked at Alliance City Hospital then went on to become the nursing supervisor at Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, retiring in 1981. Olivia is survived by her children Jeffrey Alviani, Marcia (Steve) Teolis all of Canton and granddaughter Kara (Matthew) Wharton. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 9 to 10 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 10 am. Entombment will be in Northlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Olivia's name may be made to Aultman Palliative Care or Aultman Hospice.
