PALMINA DOMENICA NONNO, age 68 of Massillon passed away Friday evening after a brief illness. Born in Pietracupa, Italy to the late Angelo and Maria Festa she was preceded in death by her husband Ubaldo Nonno, sister and cousin Spyro Kalaitsides. She was retired from Ansell Industries in 2001. Palmina loved spending time with her grandchildren, working in her garden and along with her husband she enjoyed camping at Tappen Lake. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Daniele and Beth Nonno, grandchildren Vance, Davis and Mia Nonno, brother Nicola Festa and family, cousins Mickey Kalaitsides and Dina Santoro. Friends will be received on Thursday from 1 to 3 pm at Forty Corners Church of God, 3474 Beaumont Ave. NW, Massillon, OH 44647, with a Memorial service to follow at 3 pm, Pastor Jonathon Holloway officiating. Respecting Palmina's wishes she was cremated. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Palmina's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
