Pasquale "Pat" Porco, age 84 of Massillon, passed away Thursday afternoon. Born in Belmonte, Italy to the late Francesco and Innocenza (Ianni) Porco he was preceded in death by his first wife Rosemarie Rossetti, second wife Theresa Gemmato, brothers-in-law Richard, Ronald, Dennis, Kenneth, and Gary Rossetti, Tony Gemmato, and Paul (Julie) Gemmato. He was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish since 1947, Holy Name Society, Unique Club, Ben V. Marconi Sons of Italy Lodge #1628, Canton Ex-News Boys and the Italian-American Festival Maintenance Committee. Pat retired in 1998 after 32 years as owner of Porco Landscaping. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Maria and Tony Alessandro, nieces Betty (Tom) Thompson, Sandra (Tony) Giannini, nephew Michael (Lindy Cottrill) Alessandro, beloved members of the Rossetti, Gemmato and Ianni families. Also surviving are many great-nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sophia. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00, Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski, celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish.
