Peggy L. (Courtney) Sigler age 63 of Canton, passed away Sunday morning. A life resident of Canton, Peggy was a 1971 graduate of Glenwood High School. She owned and operated an H&R Block franchise for 37 years. Peggy was a member of the Amvets #555 and the American Legion Post #44. She was preceded in death by her father Carl E. Courtney, brother Carl J. "Chuckie" Courtney and brother-in-law Dwight "Butch" Sprout. She is survived by her mother Liliane (Tiberi) Courtney, sons Joseph Sigler, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Sigler, grandchildren Andrew, Kaitlyn, Madison, Jake, sisters Gladys Courtney Sprout, Lily Courtney, Patti (Rick) Courtney Sailer, brother Perry (Sandy France) Courtney and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Thursday morning from 10 to 11 am. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating. Internment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
