Perikles Barry Giamourides

February 2, 1969 - April 14, 2025

Barry "The Greek" Giamourides passed away on April 14, 2025. Born in Canton, he cherished and respected his family, friends and elders deeply. His radiant smile and engaging personality were always evident when he entered a room. Barry was a passionate sports enthusiast, often seen playing basketball and wearing his favorite Nike clothing. He had a strong affinity for outdoor activities. Barry's generosity and kind spirit were notable as he frequently provided meals and clothing to those in need. He will be fondly remembered by many.

Barry, beloved son of the late Paul and Parthena Giamourides, is survived by siblings Sandy (Maynard) Rains, Sherry (Rosario) Moscariello, and Paula Giamourides; godparents John and Arlene Infantiedes; cousin and favorite nurse Jojo Tatarides; nieces Rosie (Felipe Moreira) Nicole Rains; and best friend Denny Schering who was like the  brother he never had.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 am to 12 noon at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with services to follow at 12 noon, Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Attendees are welcome to wear sports attire to his celebration of life. Donations may be made to Refugeofhope.org or the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Food Pantry in lieu of flowers.
