Peter E. Bobish, age 88 of Canton, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in Canton to the late Charles and Anna (Tzitz) Bobish, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Stella (Barnhouse) Bobish, infant son Peter E. Bobish, Jr., sister Matilda Mary Westbeld, and brother Charles Bobish, Jr. Peter was an Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, and was a man who was strong in his faith of Salvation through Jesus, as his faith and family were his purpose in life. An avid Steeler's fan, Peter would love to tease Ohio fans.

Peter is survived by his children Anna Marie (David) Smith, Mark Bobish, grandchildren Bret (Tana) Rodgers, Elizabeth (Matthew) Pfalzgraf, and great grandchildren Benjamin, Claire, Andrew, Lucas, and Brantley. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 6 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church (3741 Fohl Road S.W.), with services to follow at 6 pm, with Pastor Thomas Shank officiating.
