Mere words can't describe or give justice for a fitting epitaph for a man of ninety. What his eyes witnessed! However, time marches on. Philip P. Audi- great dad, good husband, generous grandfather. Your wise words will be missed. Preceded in death by his wife, Effie Ann (Thomas) Audi. The Omega (last) of his family line. Parents Charles and Rose Audi, siblings George, Ned, Louise, Theresa. Leaving this earth to carry on are daughters Mary Audi, Noelle Audi-Miller and husband Don Miller, Becky Audi, grandchildren Effie, Emily, Philip, great-grandchildren Victor and Savannah. Grandpa loved you all. And too numerous to mention nieces, nephews, and all the greats. Lifelong neighbors Rich and Judy Kuntz. Rich, dad thought highly of you- your the best! Courageous WWII Army Air Corp Veteran, Navigator and Gunner. Phil's wing unit were the recipients of the highest French honor given, the Corix de guerre. Business owner, risk taker, pro bowler, scratch golfer. Recipient of the Carling WHBC 1961 Stark County Man of The Year in sports. Inducted into the Greater Canton Bowling Association Hall of Fame 1988 Enshrinee. He lived life his way, you taught us well. Love ya Pops. We'll see you on the other side. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 am till 12:00 noon, at Holy Family Parish (formerly St. Clement's, 216 E. Wooster St., Navarre, OH) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at noon, Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boy's Town, a Catholic Charity, to which he donated for well over 30 years.
