Poliniki D. (Adamides) Aslanes age 76, passed away Saturday evening. Born in Filota, Greece to the late Haralambos and Timoklia (Kouces) Adamides she was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years James "Dimitri" Aslanes. She was a member of both Holy Trinity and St. George Greek Orthodox Churches. She is survived by her sons John (Kristin), Harry (Mary), Anthony (Barbara) Aslanes, grandchildren Aubrey, Jacob, Naomi, A.J., Athena D., John Thomas, great-grandchildren Emily Poliniki, Elizabeth Alexandria and Ethan Haralambos. She is also survived by her brother, Aristofanes Adamides. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm with Trisagion service at 6:30 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich and Rev. Fr. Constantine Shiepis officiating. Family and friends will also be received in Church one hour before services begin. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
