Ralph L. Leo, age 88 of North Canton, passed away peacefully on October 13 ^th , 2018, after an extended illness. Ralph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. A lifelong resident of Canton and North Canton, he was a 1948 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. His entire work career was with the Timken Company, from where he retired in 1985 as a shift superintendent after 37 ½ years of service. He is a former member of the North Canton Lions Club; member of St. Paul's Catholic Church (North Canton); avid sports fan (especially watching the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns); and loved to travel and play golf. Perhaps his biggest passion was spending time in his garage, where he loved the craft of creating and making things for his home. Ralph was born on August 31, 1930 to the late Ralph and Angela (Mirarck) Leo. Also preceded in death by his brother Raymond Leo, and sister Angela (Leo) Newhouser. He is survived by his beautiful wife, the love of his life, Beverly (Herdlicka) Leo, to whom he was married for 66 years; daughter Desiree Leo-Wilson (Bob) of Oregon; son Eric Leo of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Jack Wilson and Angie Wilson, both of Oregon; brothers Samuel Leo and James (Jan) Leo, both of North Canton. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the awesome staff at the North Canton Windsor Medical Center, as well as the ending support of Crossroads Hospice. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 12 to 12:30 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:30 pm in the funeral home, with Rev. Fr. Marian Babjak officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery.
