Ralph Capuano, Sr., age 83 of Canton, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon. Born in Canton to the late Louis and Dominica (Bianchi) Capuano, Sr., he was also preceded in death by his wife Gloria Capuano, sisters Betty and Lena Capuano, Theresa DeSarro, Yvonne Clark, brothers Ralph, Gerald, and Richard Capuano. He was an army veteran and retired from the Hoover Company after 30 years of service. Ralph was a founding member of the Richville Sportsman Club and was an avid hunter, golfer and fisherman. He is survived by his children Vince Capuano, Ralph "Dude" (Sophie) Capuano Jr., John (Annette) Capuano, Lisa (Shawn) Mason, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother Louis (Lucille) Capuano, Jr., sisters Loretta Beebe, Kathy (Jeff) Shultz, and sister-in-law Melanie Capuano. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 am, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ralph's name may be made to the Richville Sportsman Club c/o Ralph Capuano Jr. (6093 Old Church Ave., Massillon, OH 44646).
