Rhoda Gabriele, age 92 of Canton, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. She was born in Canton on September 28, 1932 to the late Joseph and Florence (Norcia) Gabriele. Rhoda graduated from Timken Vocational High School and was a member of United Church of God. She was employed by Mergus Restaurant and after retired from Echo Products. Rhoda then continued to work with her family at Gabe's Catering for 30 years. She was a big Canton McKinley Football fan and loved the New York Yankees.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Rose Price, Jenny Luchitz, Wanda Gabriele, Gloria Jean DiChiara, and Catherine Potter; brothers Joseph, Michael, and Armand Gabriele; baby sister Gabriele; and long-time companion John Shorie. Rhoda is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
