RICHARD J. DeGIROLAMO, age 81 of Canton, passed away Wednesday evening. Born in Canton to the late Albert and Mary (Cook) DeGirolamo he was preceded in death by brothers Fred, Pat and Mike DeGirolamo. A graduate of Canton McKinley High School, Richard was a member of the Louisville Eagles, an avid golfer, fisherman and bowler. He retired from Conrail in 1993 after 42 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia (Forehope) DeGirolamo, son Albert DeGirolamo of Canton, daughter Maria Wade of Columbus, grandson Michael (Amanda) Wade, great-grandchildren Kendyl, Kylee, Karsyn and nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 am to 1:00 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm, Rev. Fr. Edward Stafford officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
