Richard J. Preusser, age 88 of Canton, passed away peacefully Thursday evening. Born on February 26, 1930 in Canton to the late Henry and Clara (Schoeppner) Preusser, he was preceded in death by his first wife Patty, four brothers and two sisters. A self-employed carpenter, Richard was an Army Veteran. He was a kind, gentle and loving man. He is survived by his wife Shirley whom he was married to for 24 years, four children, four stepchildren, two sisters and many grandchildren. There will be no calling hours or service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
