Richard A. Raymondi, age 93, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 later in the day following his son Michael J. Raymondi. Born in Canton to the late Michael B. and Frances R. (Perretta) Raymondi, he was also preceded in death by his sister Maria Hoch.
Dickie, as he was called by his family, was a member of the Basilica of St. John the Baptist where he served as an usher for many years, as was his father. He retired in 1994 from Goodyear Tire after 33 years as a tire mold designer.
Dick is survived by his wife of 71 years Patricia M. (Siffrin) Raymondi, children Rick (Sia) Raymondi, Jeanne Pfabe, daughter-in-law Jean Raymondi, and Jim (Samantha) Raymondi, grandchildren Ann Marie Raymondi (Zach Freundlich), James (Brittany) Pfabe, Rick (significant other Kaitlan Ducken) Raymondi, Mike (Lorelei) Raymondi, Nicole Pfabe (fiancee Brendon Cody), Nate Raymondi, Kelsey (Justin) Hamas, great grandchildren Max and Olive Pfabe, sister Jacqueline (Michael) Drew, and brother-in-law Fred Hoch. Also survived by brother in law and sister in law Paul and Evie Siffrin and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Dick enjoyed his family above all else and attended many sporting events through the years for his kids, grand kids and extended family. He loved to spend his time fishing and golfing.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm and Wednesday from 9 to 10:15 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11 am, at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, with his nephew Msgr. Robert Siffrin as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Sisters of the Holy Humility of Mary.
