RICHARD L. STILES, age 79 of Canton, passed away early Tuesday morning. Born in Barberton to the late Glenn and Sylvia Stiles he was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Stiles. Richard was a member of First Christian Church and an Army veteran. He was a retired carpenter having worked for Ohio Bus Sales and Borden Dairy. In his retirement he volunteered with the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Diana (Ricci) Stiles, children; Daniel and Sharon Stiles of Bixby, OK, Caprice Shankland and Mike of Doylestown, Steve and Kimberly Richards of Jackson Twp., Michael and Mychele Richards of Canton, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way, sister and brother-in-law Marcella and James Kannenberg of Aiken, SC, and sister-in-law Patricia Stiles of Green. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 to 11:30 am at the Rossi Funeral with funeral services to follow at 11:30, Pastor Jack Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Canton. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Aultman Home Hospice and their wonderful staff.
