Richard "Ricky" T. Baxter age 58 of Canton , passed away Sunday evening. Born in Canton to the late Dick Baxter and surviving spouse, Norma Jean (Todd) Baxter. Ricky was a 1976 graduate of GlenOak High School . He was an avid golfer, fisherman and a "HUGE" OSU fan. He was inducted into the Stark County Fumbleball Hall of Fame. Ricky worked for the Hoover Company for 29 years then for Kent State University Stark Branch for 5 years. He is survived by his wife of 22 years 'Lou' Ann (Raye) Baxter, sons Cori Baxter, Alec Bianchi, Bryce Bianchi, brother Patrick (Claudia) Baxter, sister Robin Fowler, uncle Gary (June) Baxter, sisters-in-law Renee (Mark) Tersigni, Lisa (Scott) Kraig, mother-in-law Dottie Raye, and father-in-law Leslie Raye (Ann Thomas). Rick was blessed with nieces, nephews and cousins who brought a smile to his face, always offering their love and support. He will be very missed by his girl fur babies, Maddy and Izzy. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with a Memorial service to follow at 3;00 pm, "Uncle Frankie" Cimorelli officiating. In honoring Ricky's wishes, please feel free to wear OSU attire to calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ricky's name may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW , New Philadelphia, OH 44663. Special thanks to Community Hospice for living up to their promise to assist Rick in entering heaven so peacefully, and the entire staff at Tri County for their constant ability to exude healing…over the past years, you became family!
