Rita M. (Guarnieri) DiSimone, age 76, of Canton, passed away Tuesday at home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Cleveland, to the late Joseph and Jennie(Carano) Guarnieri.  She was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic, and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.  Rita was a former employee at Head Start where she served as Family Involvement Coordinator.  She loved to garden, fish, garage sale, travel and cook for family and friends.  Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her.  Rita is preceded in death by her husband Daniel DiSimone.  She is survived by her daughters; Jeanine Blate (Jeremy Day), JoAnn (Gary) Smith; grandchildren: G. Daniel (Brigitte) Evans, Brian Evans, Taylor Blate, Gregory Smith and Timothy Smith; great-grandchildren: Brodey Gandee, Hannah and Lillian Evans, Johnathan Misko.  A special thank you to Nancy McKenna, Teresa Almasy and Aultman Hospice for your loving care.  Family and friends will be received Sunday, Oct. 15th from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16th at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Whitmer, celebrant.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.  For those who wish, donations for memorial masses may be made to St. Peter Church or donations to Aultman Hospice.
