Rita (Polverini) Zavarelli age 90 of East Canton, passed away Friday, October 22st at Mercy Medical Hospital after a brief illness. Rita and her late husband were the retired owners of Zavarelli's Pizza, established in 1959 and still going strong with the hard work and dedication of son Mike and daughter Regina. She was a very proud and caring Mother who meant the world to her children. She will be sadly missed by all. Not only a wonderful Mother, she was an amazing Grandma and Great Grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Mary (Carbenia) Polverini, husband Armen Zavarelli, son Armen "Tony" A. Zavarelli, granddaughter Tara and great grandson Hunter. Rita is survived by her son Michael Zavarelli, daughter Regina (Brian) Dillree, brother Sam (Edie) Polverini, daughter-in-law Julie Zavarelli, and the joys of her life her 10 grandchildren; Tony (Amy) Zavarelli, Tiffany Zavarelli, Alyssa (Russell) Couts, Tommy (Denisse) Zavarelli, Scott (Jamie) Aguredakes, Stacy (Marc) Crawford, Brittany (Bryson) Davis, Sarah Zavarelli, Michala Zavarelli, Donte Zavarelli, and 9 great grandchildren; Noah, Case, Alexis, Cameron, Peyton, Dylan, Colton, Cayden, and Gia. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 2nd from 10:30 am to 12 noon at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at noon. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
