Robert P. Clemens, Sr., age 87 of Canton, passed away Saturday morning. Born in Canton to the late Michael and Anna Marie (McKelvey) Clemens, he was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (DeStefano) Clemens, and brothers Thomas and Edwin. He was a 1946 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and a Navy veteran. A member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, Bob was inducted into the Canton Amateur Hall of Fame for both Fastpitch Softball and Fumbleball. He was also an avid bowler. He retired in 2002 from Boil Midway as a Production Assistant. Survived by his children Robert P. (Susan) Clemens Jr., Jan Elizabeth (George) Masouh, Dawn M. (James) Johnson, Jacqueline A. Clemens, grandchildren Stacy (Joe) Rahmoeller, Nicole Costello, Jennifer Johnson, Sarah (Stephen) Joiner, great-grandchildren Cydney Rahmoeller, Payton Joiner, brother-in-law Jack DeStefano and sister-in-law Judy DeStefano. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday a 11:00 am in St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
