Robert D. "Bob" Gallucci, 82, passed away at home on May 23, 2016 in Canton, Ohio after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Middlebranch, Ohio on June 1, 1933. Bob proudly served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dinners with friends, golfing, cooking, and fishing on his boat in Lake Cable. He was a graduate of Middlebranch HS and the University of Akron. He retired from Jackson-Bayley / ABB after 24 years of service. Bob was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Retired Executives and Professional Men's Club and the Pro Football Luncheon Club. He is preceded in death by father Patsy, mother Emma, and grandson Bobby Rufo. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rosemary, 3 children, Lea Ann (Dean) Marchand, Cathy Rufo, Michelle (Jerry) Sharp, 8 Grandchildren, Jacki (Stu) Bentley, Matthew Rufo, Andrea (Dominic) Varacallo, Sara Rufo, Tara (Hunter) Shipes, Erin Marchand, Alexa Sharp, and Jared Sharp, 1 great-grandson, Dominic Varacallo Jr., 3 Brothers, Dale (Peggy), Joe (Karen), Pat (Eileen), sister Marie, and many friends. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, June 1st, 10 am. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Don King as celebrant. Procession will form at church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, May 31st, 5-8 pm. at Rossi Family Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his name to Catholic Charities of Stark County or Veteran Administration of Stark County.
