Robert Garald (Gary) Beadle, Sr. of Canton passed away on June 17th. The second of seven children born in Canton to Dwight (Whitey) Beadle and Magdalene (Toot) Lab on January 4, 1933. Gary graduated from St. John Catholic Grade School and attended Canton Central Catholic High School. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Gary worked ten years for the City of Canto Fire Department and retired from the City of Canton Maintenance Department in 2003.

He enjoyed all sports and especially liked watching Notre Dame football games as well as following all the games and musical events that his grandchildren participated in.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife Stella (Evangelista), of 68 years He and Stella had five children: Bob (Cheryl) Beadle of Fairfield, OH; Don (Donna) Beadle of Huntsville, AL; Melanie Warren of Canton, OH; David (Carol) Beadle of Fishers, IN; and Lori (Steve) Burger of Canton, OH.

Gary is survived as well by his ten grandchildren and fifteen and one on the way great grandchildren whom he was crazy about and they all loved their "Papa."

Gary is survived by his brother Mick Beadle and sisters-in-law Nancy Beadle, Mickey Beadle, and Mary Kunkel and brother-in-law Paul Moran as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by brothers Bunny, Tom, Jim, and Jay Beadle, sister Mary Jo Mullins, brother-in-law Wayne Mullins, and sisters-in-law Gertie Beadle and Shirley Beadle. A private family service and burial will be held.
