Robert W. Offenberger, age 89 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born in Marietta, Ohio on June 22, 1929 to the late Edgar and Lillian Offenberger. Robert was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, and then continue to work as an Oil Rig Operator where he was employed by Belden Blake Oil and Gas, and Canton Oil Well Services. When he was not working, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a member of the NRA. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beryl, and son Roger Offenberger. Robert is survived by his daughter Gloria Ward-Williams of Florida; daughter-in-law Junellyn Offenberger of Canton; nine grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers Landall (Mayrene) Offenberger, and Larry (Darlene) Offenberger, both of Waynesberg; and sister Dorothy Offenberger-Zimmerman. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Ft. Laurens Cemetery ( 10962 Fort Laurens Rd NW, Bolivar, OH 44612).
