ROBERT G. STRICKMAKER, age 90 of Canton, passed away early Thursday morning. Born in Canton to the late George and Mae Strickmaker he was preceded in death by his wife Connie, brother Jim and sister Helen. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. Robert retired from the Timken Company after 34 years of service. He is survived by his grandchildren Ramona Cook, Ken Sprankle with whom he made his home, Laura Sprankle, great-grandchildren Brandon, Kara, and Chad Sprankle and brother Bill Strickmaker. There will be no calling hours or service. Respecting Robert's wishes he will be cremated.
