ROCCO A. PELLEGRINI, age 53, born in Nuremberg, Germany, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Do to the wishes of Rocco, a private family service occurred on January 14th at Rossi Funeral Home. Therefore, everyone will remember him as the "Rocco who prevailed" prior to his battle with cancer. Rocco was the son of Anthony and Kaye Pellegrini and will forever be remembered. As a son, he was cherished for his uniqueness, and as a brother, remembered as their protector. As a devoted father, he embraced fathership with love and a self-sacrificing spirit, and most of all, as a grandfather, all loving. Rocco worked at the Canton Community Jewish Center for 26 years. Everyone loved and admired Rocco for his ability to make each person feel beautiful and special. To all his friends, who consist of anyone he encountered, he became their stronghold and played the 'jester' to bring joy to all; always there for everyone for anything at anytime! Though he knew his time was short, he continued to be optimistic and make sure everyone else was 'all right'. Just like Rocco never to put himself first even when he was at his time of suffering. We sincerely appreciate all the family and friends for supporting Rocco during his time of need. He will be missed by all, but he is resting and no longer suffering. Due to his faith in God, peace of mind surrounded him as his death knowing paradise lies ahead. He will be remembered for his finest attributes...a grand heart... and love of life!
