Rocio Ann (Perez) Strohmeyer, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was born in Canton on April 3, 1936 to the late Juan and Maria (Ramos) Perez. Rocio graduated from Timken Vocational High School and retired from Diebold Incorporated. A member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church of Canton, Diebold Retirees, numerous card clubs, the Red Hats Society of Springwood Lake, and Danbury of Massillon.

Rocio is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Strohmeyer, Jr.; son James (Pamela) of Amherst; grandsons Michael, Aaron (Maria), and John; granddaughters Amelia (Keith) and Catherine. Also survived by great-grandsons Ryan, Cooper, Elijah, and Azariah; great-granddaughters Haley and Jillian; brother John (Delores) Perez; sister Juanita Loper; and many beloved nieces, nephews, Godchildren and cousins.

Along with her parents, Rocio was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Perez and Amelia Deitz, and brother Antonio Perez.

Family and friends will be received at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
