Ronald J. Ranalli, age 76 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness. He was born in Canton on March 30, 1944 to the late John, Jr. and Ethel Ranalli. A Canton McKinley High School graduate, he later retired from the Timken Company. Ron was a professed member in the Eucharistic Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order, and enjoyed reading, traveling, and cooking.

Ron is survived by his daughter Teresa Ranalli, and her mother, Esther Ranalli, both of North Canton; sister Lynette Ranalli of Canton; brothers John (Kathleen) Ranalli of Troy, Michigan, and Michael (Mary) Ranalli of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew and great-niece.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church on Saturday at 10 am., with the Rev. Fr. John E. Sheridan, S.T.L. Social distancing will be practiced, and masks are mandatory. The Mass will be live streamed via St. Peter's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stpetercanton). A private burial for the immediate family only will be held in St. John's Cemetery.
