Rose (Carubia) Frustaci, age 75 of Canton, passed away early Friday morning surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Cianciana, Sicily to the late Alfonso and Giuseppina (Alfano) Carubia. She was also preceded in death by her sister Gina Re, and in-laws Vincenzo and Caterina Frustaci. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Rose is survived by her husband Antonio "Tony" Frustaci; children Caterina (Steve) Altieri, Vincenzo Frustaci, Alfonso Frustaci; grandchildren Antonetta, Grayson, Eberlee; brother Gino Carubia; brother and sister-in-laws Pietro (Sharon) Re, Benedetto (Linda) Frustaci, Annina (the late Carmen) Papaleo, Marcello (Barbara) Frustaci, and Mirella (Frank) Procopio; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Lucia Zappitelli. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Don King as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
