Rosemary P. (McAdoo) Schaffner age 101 of Canton, passed away Tuesday. Born in Massillon to the late Ira W. and Rose C. (Hamel) McAdoo, she was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years James E. Schaffner, Sr., and sister Marian E. Fitzgerald. She was a member of Christ the Servant Parish. Rosemary is survived by her children Patricia A. (Stanon Jr.) Clark, Michael W. (Bridget Hamblin) Schaffner, James E. (Karen) Schaffner Jr., grandchildren Stanton T. Clark III, Christopher M. (Beth) Clark, Caitlin H. (Michael) Miller, Allison J. Schaffner, four great grandchildren Lily and Evie Clark, Claire and William Miller. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 to 11:45 am at Christ the Servant Parish with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 12 noon, Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ the Servant Parish.
